GALATIA. Pessinos. 1st century BC. AE (Bronze, 23 mm, 17.43 g, 12 h). Jugate busts of Attis, draped and wearing Phrygian cap, and Kybele, turreted and draped, to right; tympanon before. Rev. ΜΗΤΡΟ[Σ Θ]ΕΩΝ ΠΕΣΣΙΝΕΑΣ Lion seated left, placing right forepaw on shield; in field to left and right, caps of Dioskouroi surmounted by stars; to right, pair of cymbals. BMC -. SNG Paris 2563.
